First In Gardens was envisioned and developed by “a dreamer” and “an architect.” Sarah and Bryan both share a love for adventure, community, and good times. Combining their own passions in a way that created an opportunity to support their neighbors and foster a sense of belonging in a joyful endeavor, was the seed that has germinated into First In Gardens.

  • FAMILY LIASON & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Sarah’s personal mission is to serve her community with curiosity, imagination, and creativity rooted in authentic and compassionate living.

    Some of Sarah’s professional labels have included musician, fisherman, orchestra manager, educator, service-learning travel guide, and chaplain. Without a doubt, her new favorite is Executive Director of First In Gardens.

    Sarah’s childhood nickname was Nature Girl and she’s happy to be living into that name again!

  • VETERAN LIASON & BOARD CHAIR

    Bryan is a former enlisted Marine who brings dedication and creativity to his role as Board Chair at First In Gardens.  The continuous mission of supporting First Responders and Veterans is his passion.   

    Bryan also loves making music, either with his mouth or his piano, and still chases frisbees in ultimate matches. A proud husband and father of three uniquely wonderful kids, he also enjoys model trains and growing disturbingly hot peppers - because life is always better with a lot of spice!

  • FIRST RESPONDER LIASON & PEER SUPPORT SPECIALIST

    Libby is an EMT who loves to spread kindness and laughter to whatever community she serves. She’s always looking for an adventure and new smiles to join her. In her free time, you can find Libby rock climbing, creating and tinkering, or loving on some animals. She is most excited for this new adventure as a Peer Support Specialist with First In Gardens!
